Who wants to play in an altered playing card athon? July28-August1
Oddbreed and I are thinking about hosting an apc-athon from July 28 (Thursday) to August 1 (Monday.) We hope getting a mix of weekdays and weekend days will allow more people to play. Also, those lucky ducks going to the AFA convention should be home and rested up.
Anyone wanna come play?

I haven't done APCs since I first tried them in December. It's been too long.

Yes, yes. I want to play-thanks for the idea. It gives me time to get some new cards. I bought some old, beautiful cards at a garage sale, but I didn't realize they were undersize. To bad, they are nice.

Sounds like a load of fun, but I'll be on the road that weekend sans beeswax. Will look for another APC-athon in the future, though.

I've got some that are a bit too narrow, but I may put them on atc blanks. The purist in me likes to see the actual backs of the playing cards, but it's tough to get the right size.
I've also got some round playing cards I've been dying to try out. |

The backs are the beauty of these cards, CynthiaSillitoe. I may try making something like a frame so part of the back will still show. I'll work on that.

I'm fine with off size cards too. I collect them for the art not by deck so anything that appeals is interesting regardless of size |

I'm fine with them, too. Like I said, I like to see the backs, but I always worry that I'll get "busted." So is the important thing that you're clear about it?
