IMG_4014.jpeg “Princess Diana”. On 31 August 1997, Princess Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris. Her death prompted an international outpouring of grief.
IMG_4015.jpeg “Windsor Castle”. There was a great fire at Windsor Castle in November 1992, bringing to an end a year of scandal, disaster and misfortune for the Royal Family. The Queen called it an ‘annus horribilis’.
IMG_4016.jpeg “Dolly the Sheep”. Dolly the sheep was born in 1996. She was the first mammal to be cloned using adult somatic cells. She was named after Dolly Parton, because she was cloned using cells taken from the mammary glands!
