BACKGROUNDS - Bokeh style Due date: June 17

great choice of colours ArtSean329 - I will tell you when they arrive.

I am leaving tomorrow for 3 weeks holiday on the opposite side of Australia - I have arranged for all my mail to be held so none of it will go astray. I will be able to tell you it has arrived after May 7 when we return.
I will be checking in to the thread while we are away so anyone who needs my address, or anything else, I will still answer.

I've never done Bokeh on anything but Photoshop before this Swap. I got a little excited for this one and forgot to take photos of the ones I actually sent in.
Here are the ones I didn't like enough - as examples. 🤗

Those look great TheFFG. It looks like you tried 2 methods - adding white on top and removing colour. Which did you prefer?
Thank you!
So ... I kinda added to the ones that I really butchered removing the color 😂
There is definitely a hard 'Practice makes perfect' going on here!
I also understand now that my watercolors reaaaaaaally should be better quality. You'll see when you get them, they're chalky. 🤦🏼‍♀️
I'm learning! Thank you for these challenging (for me) swaps 🤗

I haven’t tried this watercolor process yet, but it looks really easy. I think I’m going to work on the papers in stages, letting them air dry, although maybe they’d get too wrinkled. I do have a heat tool, but I always like projects I can do in stages.

CynthiaSillitoe - that is a great video for watercolour users. I agree with her that different sizes for the circles adds another dimension to your creation.
Does this mean that I can sign you up?
Rainy day - I have sent you my address and I love the colour combinations you used in your cards.

CynthiaSillitoe - fingers crossed you like what you create or at least have fun playing.
BlancoLobo - welcome and I can’t wait to see your creations
leydab- those cards are great, love that you have played with layers and different sizes with your circles

I am hoping to make a series of Backgrounds and was thinking that the next version would be ‘Ombre’ - 1 in hot colours, 1 in cold colours and 1 using the colours of your choice.
Would people be interested?

Does anyone have a background technique that they would like to have in hot/ cold/ mixed colours?
