My envelope was mailed yesterday.
A woodpecker has a nest in the sycamore tree in front of our house. I’ve enjoyed hearing them talk throughout the day. I imagine them as little dinosaurs calling each other in their prehistoric tones.

Thanks for letting me know. We have many owls in our Weeping Willow trees and they "who" day and night. It is kind of a reassuring noise.
I discovered yesterday that the woodpeckers are a pair of Northern Flickers! They are gorgeous and are keeping me captivated with their nest goings-on.
What color are they?
