This swap celebrates characters, scenes, ideas from or memories of your favorite books. They can be children’s, teen or adult books. Working as a librarian for many years, I have always been interested in what books people enjoy, which books people remember as they grow older and the books that folks love to regularly re-read. My example cards (all previously traded) are: Curious George, The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings and Alice in Wonderland.
You are welcome to create in any media you wish including original digital art. And I pay attention as much as possible to requests for the type of media you prefer in your returns.
Swap Requirements ~
* All cards should be standard 3.5” x 2.5”
* Put the title and author of each of your favorite books somewhere on your cards (either back or front is fine).
* This swap is 3 for 3 only. An extra card for the host is welcome, but completely optional.
* Cards must be original. Send work into which you put time, imagination and care.
* Please protect your cards with plastic sleeves.
Mailing Information ~
* Please put your username and swap name on all envelopes sent.
* US Participants – Please include a clearly written SASE or a label and postage.
* International Participants - Please send a clearly-addressed envelope or mailing label and I will cover postage.
Please PM me for my address when you are ready to mail your cards. Please post in this thread when you are sending your cards out, that way I can keep track of the cards when they were mailed. Any late cards will be returned.
When you receive your returns, please leave I-Trader for your swap host and rep points for the artists of the cards you receive. People like to know where their little artworks find home.
