Due date: Dec. 12,
Signup/Withdrawal date: Dec. 7
Number of players: Unlimited
Number of cards: 3/3
Medium: Hand-drawn and painted, pens and markers, inks and paints, colored pencils, metallic and glitter glue, and “flattish” shiny embellishments like sequins or ribbon

.Draw and paint some ornaments you would like to see on your tree. They could be the classic ball-shape, or include a point at the bottom. They could also represent current favorites or favorites from childhood, even ones hand- made by your children that you treasure. Figurals are fine, or really old ornaments that have passed down through the years. You can also include a “topper”, often a star or Angel (see my picture, coming soon). Glimmer and glitz are encouraged, as are blingy embellishments, if flat, like sequins or tiny rhinestones.
Have fun and BE MERRY!

Sorry I'm late in posting this image example. It is a topper, made by my mom about 20 years ago, made of stiffened crochet. The card is drawn in white gel pen.

I wish all my Christmas ornaments weren’t packed away! But it’s been fun looking some up online, and also seeing what they are worth. Vintage Hallmark “Frosty Friends” Eskimo series. Anyone have those? When we get a little further along here, and pictures are being posted, please do feel free to tell us the story behind your ornaments.

Wow,we’ve gone so silent on this thread! I tell myself it’s due to timing and other commitments and the current site glitch messing everyone up! Don’t forget us, this should be a fun swap to give and receive for. Working on my second ornament now!
