You are wondering why there is a coin swap in the ATC Forum. Its because you are putting 2 ATCoins on an ATCard. To build this coin card, you should put some color on your ATC background. Then you need 2 Artist trading coins, each with a hole in it. Holes can be punched or made by an exacto or even a scissors. The coins can be overlapping and not all on your card. You have to cut off the coin parts that are not on your card. I am using alcohol inked coins as I have extra ones.
The holes can reveal the background or something different. For my first card, the hole reveals the card background. ( I have a collection of blank ATCs that are watercolored.) The other coin has a small circle with text in it. My coined ATCs will all be abstract but you can do what you please.
Necessary Information - do read as not all hosts have the same directions.
* Sign up here, on the swap thread.
* Coins have a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. Fiskars has a punch that size. Or you might find something else with that diameter to trace.
*ATCs are 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches.
* On the backs of your cards, put at least your user name, your location, and a date.
* Send your cards in plastic sleeves.
*Send a label or piece of paper with your mailing address.
US players-send along 1 or 2 forever stamps.
International players- I can provide your postage.
* I will provide envelopes for everyone.
+ Loose cards can rip your envelope. You can lay them flat, slightly overlapping and put painters tape across them, on both sides. Or put them in some sort of holder. I also tape the ends of the back flap. Better to make & mail earlier than later.
