Hi Kacy, welcome to the swap. Thanks for sharing your art with us. The butterfiles are fantastical and beautiful. As per the rule of the swap you need to name your butterflies on the right hand side of the ATC (please see the examples in the first thread and also the artwork posted by other players). This is so they look like a specimen in a butterfly collection. I can see you have room to name three of them but you may have to make another as the blue butterfly takes up the whole card.

LuK, your butterflies have arrived. They are lovely additions to the butterfly world. Thank you for the extra host gift card, it will be treasured and also the GF stamp.

Essy, your beautiful butterflies have arrived. They are stunning. Thank you for the host gift butterflies, they will be treasured and GF stamps.
You're very welcome flashviv! It was my pleasure. Thank you for your kind compliments and for letting me know the butterflies arrived.

Mail call for Robin and 14CarrotGold --- Your beautiful cards have arrived. Thank you for playing in our swap and for the host gift card and postage you included.

A big mail call today. Cards received from TillyGo, LeyDab and Kacy Butcher. Thank you all for the hostess gift cards and the postage you included. The cards are just wonderful. There is a grand gathering of fantastical butterflies happening at my house!

I would like to join and here are my butterflies. As I did for Part 1, for each butterfly I used a real genus name and made up species name. I also identified the real genus and species name of a butterfly that my fantastical butterfly is "related" to. I also assigned a common name to each butterfly, and that is identified on the back of the card.

Colsyne pinkinarocana, "Pink Patch", related to Closyne janais "Crimson Patch" found in tropical and subtropical thorn scrub.
Colias goldinaea, "Gold sulfur", related to Colias philodice "Orange sulfur" found throughout the United States.
Euchloe parisii, "Paris Blue Marble", related to Euchloe ausomides "Large Marble Found in western United States.
Heliconus amarilla, "Laser yellow striped longwing", related to Helioconius melopomene "Laser red striped longwing" found in Ecuador.
Vanessa quintstargeneral, "Five star general", related to Vanessa atalanta "Red Admiral" found in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
