It's just another Sunflower Season! And I adore sunflowers! 🌻 My garden is mid sunflower season, with buds (anticipation!), to blooms (making the bees happy), to fading seed heads (attracting the birds and pesky squirrels). Sunflowers have different meanings and representations around the world. In general, sunflowers are often associated with positivity, happiness, and light, which we can always use. 🌻 So let’s make some ATCs featuring my favorite flower!
Whatever you create, you must include at least one sunflower in your art. The rest is up to your creativity.

This is open media with exceptions: No white edged stickers (they can be trimmed). No fully digital. No prints. Please, no heavy or thick embellishments.

Basic Rules

* All cards must be standard 3.5” x 2.5” and must be sturdy enough to earn the name "card".
* Each card must be different. Cards may be similar but each must be unique to itself.
* Send in work you would be happy to receive, created with thought and care.
* Send your cards in individual protective sleeves.
* No heavy embellishments. Thinner cards are desired. If you have thicker cards, send extra postage for each card please!

MAILING
* On Back of Cards - include swap name; username; your real name and location.

*PLEASE! Tape your cards securely together so they don’t slide around in the envelope. See examples of how to safely pack your ATCs to mail:
https://www.atcsforall.com/forums/threads/how-to-pack-mail-your-cards-for-swaps.909/post-2216595

*If you’re unsure of the weight, add an additional ounce stamp or extra Forever stamp. Any envelopes with postage due will be returned to sender.

PLEASE MAIL EARLY! Mail is randomly slow and it’s sad when art arrives after I’ve swapped the cards.

US Participants:
Include a Self Addressed business sized envelope with a Forever Stamp (currently .78) OR send a clearly written address label with one or two Forever Stamps.
Please include your user name and name of swap on your envelope.

International Participants:
Please send your address on a self-stick mailing label (clearly written, please) and include your username. I will provide the envelope and I’ll cover your postage. (Although if you wish to send a Global Forever Stamp or $1.00 USD, I’ll be happy to accept it!)
Please mail early – 3 - 4 weeks is recommended.

* EVERYONE PLEASE allow plenty of mailing time! Our USPS mail is wacky and randomly slow! I’m an on time hostess and late cards will be returned to sender.

* If you need to drop out; just let me know. No cards and no communication will likely result in a neutral i-trader!

Note that this is 3 for 3 only. An extra card for the host is never required, although always appreciated.

Please ask for my address when you are ready to mail your cards. I’m still at Brownsville Place.

Please post in the thread when your cards are mailed; it helps me keep track.

And please consider posting your lovely completed art for everyone to see. It’s so fun and inspiring to see what others are creating!

When you receive your returns, please leave Feedback (formerly iTrader) for your swap host (me).
Please also thank the artists of the cards you receive. That can be done by posting a thank you in the thread, or giving a reputation comment, or posting on their profile or sending a conversation / private message.
Note that I include links to each swap participant in the first post to make it easy to leave a reputation comment.

Who’s ready to celebrate sunflowers?

HHC - I want your garden! How big is it? your herb garden (shown in the ATART thread) and your gorgeous sunflowers - what other plants do you have?

I have so many sunflower resources (not in a garden as I have black thumbs, not green thumbs - I can kill something by looking at it :() - please sign me up

Welcome Donnacr!

My herb garden is about 4x4 feet. We have a lot of plants in pots these days, including some of the sunflowers. The group of sunflowers in the second post were from last year. I'd bought a pot of starts from the nursery, and the lady said to plant them all together. So I did and loved the look. Haven't done it since, though, for some odd reason. :)
