The Charm Ornament Swap, Mixed Media, Due Sept. 5th, 2024

Hello Teresagram. Feel free to check out the link at the beginning for a sample of the type of flatter charms that would work well. :)
Oh, duh. LOL Missed the link. And I'm familiar with those charms...although I wouldn't have thought of them as 'flat', just lower profile than regular charms. Ok, now I'm thinking about this....

What a coincidence! She was my first host for that Old Hollywood swap too!
Oh, how funny! I didn't realize you had just started then. I think of you in the same category as CastleQueen--a long time devotee of ATCs from AZ! :) (Whereas I still think of myself as a newbie!)

No worries at all! You're right. They're more "low profile" than "flat!"

My charms have arrived! I ordered the same ones from your link. Decided what I might want to use and gave a lot to my d-I-l for her junk journal.

I am assuming regular white craft glue is ok to use for these charms, but thought I should ask.

My charms all had little loops on them. I stitched them to the cards in a way that they wiggle a little. On the back I secured the threads with a knot and then taped down the thread ends with cellophane tape. It never occurred to me to glue them. Duh.
Stitching them on is a super cute way to attach. :)
