I wanna play!

I started working on my cards for this swap and just wanted to make sure I’m on the right track, since I’m not sure what counts as a layer. Is this okay? I wanted to be sure before I go any further with it.

@les342, you are on the right track. Every marking on top of the previous layer count as a new layer. For example, you have your brown base paper - layer 1, the beige paper is layer 2, layer 3 is the squiggly markings, the postcard strip will be layer 4, etc.

@leydab , I forgot drawing counts as a layer, so do the written words also count as their own separate layer since they're on a different paper layer?

So does the card already have 7 layers?
1: yellow paper
2: black squiggles on yellow paper
3: black paper
4: postcard paper
5: words 'explore your' on black paper
6: picture of a globe
7: 'world' word cut out

@Maxtastic, yes, each counts as a layer. Also, remember that 7-layers is just a minimum. You can add as many as you would like.
