Just have to share a photo of our backyard I took a few minutes ago -- this was unexpected!! Anyone else in WA getting snow?
Now... to get myself in the mood for snowy scenes.... contrary to popular belief, it *does* snow in Texas on occasion. Here are a couple of pics of our house, one from 2017 and one from 2021. The pics look cool with the falling snow on the screen, lol.

JustJayne, my mom was a Texan, born and raised. She went to college at Southwestern, outside of Austin, and she talked a lot of the snowfall they had there one year. I have a photo somewhere of her building a little snowman outside of her sorority house. And now that I think of it, I was visiting my dad in Austin one Christmas when there was an ice storm. I'd never been in one but, beyond it being cold and slippery out, it sure was beautiful!
I know I'm way early with cards but mine are ready to mail. I can hold them until later, if it's better for you, Martha. I figure if I get them mailed I can't lose them in my happy mess craft room.
