Swap Due Date - January 27, 2025
postage for non-Australians - December 30
I live in Australia - mail will NOT reach me quickly! I suggest you allow at least 4 weeks.
Number of Cards - 3:3 (made using tangles starting with that letter - 1 card using 'V' tangles, 1 card using 'W' tangles and 1 card using 'X' tangles)
Number of participants - unlimited
Medium - any but the zentangles need to be identifiable so I recommend pens and/or pencils

MAILED JANUARY 15

I am asking for NAMED tangles to be used on your cards, NOT just any doodle. For an easy reference go to Tanglepatterns.com and click on the letter at the top of the page. This resource has been growing since 2009 so you will find many choices for every letter of the alphabet.
Please make sure to list the tangles you have used on the back of each card.

Feel free to fill just the letter of the alphabet (and add a little background tangle) (tangles - VO, Victory) OR fill in the background around the letter (tangles - Wallace) OR add a little colour to your card (tangles - XO, Xplode) OR any combination of these

the last swap in this series is due February 27 and will be 'Y, Z, numbers' - you will choose 1 or more tangles whose names start with a number (these are found on the far left of the alphabet list)

Post to the thread to sign up or you can't get fun Rep comments.

PM me for my address when you are ready to mail - if you have an address in Robina I am still there. I am an on-time Host so please take not of the suggested mail date at the top of the thread.

Postage:
Australian players: please includer a $1.50 stamp
International players: please include a well-hidden US $2 OR a Global Forever stamp.

ALL players please include a LARGE address label (at least 2" x2"). I will provide envelopes.

1) Do your best work - I plan to swap effort-for-effort as much as I can.
2) clearly write your USERNAME and the SWAP NAME on the back of all your cards (so you can get fun Rep comments) and on the back of your mailing envelope. I am running a few swaps and do not want to put you with the wrong returns.
3) please mail early to allow time to reach Australia
4) an extra card for the swap is greatly appreciated but is not required
5) I will give Feedback when I receive your cards and update this post. In return I encourage you to give Host feedback when you receive your returns, and Rep comments to the artists whose cards you receive. After all, knowing where your cards went is half the fun, I think.

leydab - your gorgeous cards arrived yesterday

Pamitha - don't forget that the last swap in this series is "Y, Z and numbers' as I explain in the first post. When you go to tanglepatterns.com and look at the menu at the top of every page you will find a button '0-9'.
Just as you can use one or more of the tangles starting with any letter, you can use one or more tangles starting with a number - you can mix different numbers or use tangles that all start with the same number.

Tillygo - Your stunning cards arrived today

I will be leaving on Monday to go down to Melbourne for Christmas so will be unable to comment on any more cards arriving. I have arranged for the mail to be held until we get back on Dec 30 so will sort everything then. Merry Christmas to you and your families.

maxtastic - those cards look great! I will tell you when they arrive (hopefully you mailed them a while ago - my mail has hit a go-slow after Christmas)

Pamitha - your very full envelope with 'V, W, X, Y, Z' arrived while I was in Melbourne.
