I am STILL squealing with pleasure over the contents of my package! That wolf head is going to adorn one of my handmade books, the dragon paper will probably go in my oversized altered atlas, and the cards...oh, the CARDS! I join swaps now and then with hosts I don't know, and if I get REALLY lucky, I find one who understands the nuances of swapping out cards. But NO ONE holds a candle to you. You pay attention to what's being said in the thread, you participate in the conversations (I'm stunned by how many hosts don't), and you are seriously organised (your returns go out on TIME, by gum!). PLUS, I frequently get cards in a style I wouldn't normally, because there's an erroneous belief here at AFA that hand drawn work is somehow better than any other medium, which is just silly. Of all the cards you sent me in this swap, the least well done of the lot (obviously, just my opinion) is hand drawn...the collaged and digital (don't get me started on the prejudice against digital art!) cards are absolutely wonderful!
In short (not that I would know how to be terse in my verbiage), I ADORE my returns! Now you'll have to excuse me, as I need to go do a happy dance.
