they are so beautiful and well made. what did you use for the base again? thanks for the extras too, i can't wait to use them! and finally, i need to get on the ball b/c i want a rolo from you SO BAD!

I used mat board (1/16 inch thick) as the background. I really like how it makes it feel thick and sturdy. I use it as a backing for everything. I bought it on the clearance wall at Hobby Lobby ( I think it was leftover from the framing department). If you have a hobby lobby, they usually have a wall in each department where they offer a bunch of stuff on clearance from that department. The mat board came in a big stack wrapped in plastic for about $7. I love hobby lobby
