Great chunky pages, packaged well, arrived on time

Your pages for the In the Garden swap arrived today. I love the plastic animals! Thank you for those big green labels. Those will come in very handy.

Those little plastic animals...you don't happen to know where I hid the rest of them from myself, do you? I have whole bag of them... about 30 or so, various insects, garden critters and I've no clue where the heck I put the bag after I took out the ones I used on the Garden pages. I'm forever hiding things from myself. Put something somewhere and forget what I did with it...

Anyway, I'm glad you finally got the pages. Thanks for the iTrader postive. I do appreciate that! I'm looking forward to getting the returns!

If you wouldn't mind sending me more, that would be awesome. They are going to be perfect for re-using people's bubble envelopes. Even though people send labels, there's other stuff I usually have to cover up somehow.

I've put 50 green labels in a box to send to you, but the box seems kinda empty! Is there anything else you might be needing that I could stuff in that box as well?
Here's a partial list of things I have available in the art department:

orchard paper (kinda like parchment paper but not quite)-- I'd have to fold the sheets in half to send them. This paper is wonderful for doing pencil drawings and it takes sharpies quite well also.

calendar pages with Harley Davidson's on them (small pages bout 6 x 6 inches, some pictures on the pages are of vintage Harleys and scenes of Harleys, pretty cool all in all if you're into the motorcycle thing.)

fibres for chunky books- rick rack, hem lace, leather thong, blue cotton yarn, kind of a mix of this and that... I've no fancy yarns though... mostly old sewing notions

pages from the 1939 World Almanac

used postage stamps -- US and foreign

ATC blanks and/or 4x4 blanks these are mostly made from chipboard, reclaimed from packaging of this and that

pages from a book of love quotes--each page has one quote on it... nice for chunky pages

inchie blanks made from watercolor paper and other papers

Russian book pages

iron on gold foil --- I just bought this stuff and haven't had a chance to use it yet but it might come in handy on ATCs or chunky pages

punched tiny little cats... just name the color(s) you want

inspirational quotes on angel shaped paper

wire mesh

buttons

old cds

red origami stars -- these would make wonderful (light) danglies for chunky pages if strung with sewing thread. They could also be painted any color you chose. They are made of red construction paper.

wooden teddy bear cutouts-- just the right size for chunky books




If none of this stuff sounds interesting, just ask, I've tons of stuff that would come in handy for our art endeavors. I would like to fill the small box instead of sending it with just the labels. It will cost about the same to send it as is, with just the labels, as it would to send it full. Let me know, please.
I'm happy to pass on the labels and when you need some more... let me know, I didn't put much of a dent in the roll after taking the 50 off of it. The box will still hold quite a bit. I would put the labels in an envelope but its going to cost about the same as the box to send so I might as well give you some things you need while sending you the labels.

You are very generous, thank you. I would love to have some of your fibers and old sewing notions. I love the way people use these on chunkies, and I'd like to try out more of them. The Almanac pages, the wire mesh, 4x4 chunky blanks (I hate cutting 4x4 blanks) or any winter-themed (snow) or winter holiday (Christmas, etc.) postage stamps you can part with (US or foreign) would also be very helpful. I have a plan to make my holiday cards this year with winter stamps.

I will send you some fun goodies along with your returns -- how about some funky yarns and fibers, since you don't have many? I have tons. I can also send you some Asian book pages (I have Tongan, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and a few others). I think I can also dig up some fun dangely bits for chunkies (things like beads, plastic animals, random things). What do you think?

I would gladly trade you some of my excess for some of yours!
I've got the box ready to go but it will be a few days till I can mail it out. I'm going to leave it open till I get ready to send it though. If I can find those missing plastic insects, I'll send you a few of those as well. So far this morning, my digging hasn't produced them!
I gave you all the winter themed and christmas stamps that were in my box of stamps. There aren't a lot of them, but should help in your endeavor to collect enough to use for your cards this year. That is an excellent idea btw. I've no use for them at the moment and I'm sure more will come along in the future.
I tried to give you a good mix of sewing notions but I've come nowhere close to covering what I have that I can send to you. I've thrown in some hem lace, bias tape, rickrack and the like.
I cut you some 4x4 pages out of cereal boxes, junk mail and old greeting cards. Some pages are decent thickness, some you will need to double up on. I can send you more of these as you need them, if you like. Just send me a PM and we'll trade for some more. I don't mind cutting them out. I have a large guillotine paper cutter that makes them easy to cut.
I also put in a few ATC blanks just to fill up the space a bit more. I've given you a variety of these. Some made from recyclyed packaging, some made from greeting cards and a plastic one as well. I had hoped more 4x4s would fit side by side in the box, but that wasn't working.
There are also a few other things in the box that you might find useful. I saw on your profile that you want anything vintage so I've sent you a needle case I've been wondering what the heck to do with. It is paper and kinda beat up but it might be good for something for you. It has a nice picture on one side of it and a few old needles on the other side.
There are also a few pages of the Almanac in the box. I put in a little envie of the origami stars as well. Only a few of them. If you like them, I can send more of them as well. I was wrong about them all being made out of red construction paper. Most of them are made from magazine pages, but could still be painted whatever color you wanted them to be.
Guess that covers the goodies in the box more or less.
