I love, love, love the silk paper! Is it really paper? It feels more like fabric. What would happen to it if it got wet? Would it dissolve? Too many question? I am so-o-o-o happy with our trade. I hope you can use everything I sent you. Happy moments! Berkeley

So glad you like what I sent. The silk paper is paper made out of 100% silk brick (roving). It's some I had and I don't really spin it, only mix it with other fibers for strength and some sheen when I spin. Yes, it does feel like fabric, because it is silk. You can write on it with a regular pen, not a sharpie. I've been playing with that aspect of it. You can cut it, sew it, dye it. When wet, it will probably pull apart easily, but not dissolve like regular paper. This is more of a type of fiber. I'll have more to trade later as I make more. What you have is the Tussah. There is also a Bombyx, which is white. I am going to make some silk pages for my step daugher's wedding guest book and will use the Bombyx. I was playing around with my Tussah to get the hang of the paper (how much fiber, water and fabric medium).
Anyway, when I get some extra pages and if you'd like some, maybe we can do another trade?
Take care and thanks so much,
