I started with inking the whole piece with outlnes & used a very fine micron pen to shade by stippling (dots). I almost didn't color it because the ink defined almost all of the shading and texture I wanted to portray. Also, after I colored the dragon with watercolor pencils, I used metallic watercolors and finally accented with a little metallic acrylic paint. At each step, I worried I would ruin it!
