Kokeshi Dolls - Due November 30, 2025

sign me up, please.
I thought that I had a wonderful iris folding pattern for this swap but turns out that my pattern is for Matryoshka dolls (the Russian version). Luckily I have just received my Betterpress system and my first set of plates is. . .Kokeshi dolls!

My cards are ready to send. I'm from Japan and I have known well about kokeshi dolls, but they're not very familiar to me. I think that's because my hometown is far from the place where kokeshi dolls are famous. I'm glad to use some origami paper with traditional Japanese patterns. If you are interested in Japanese sentence, Please translate it.

I was ready to mail my 4 cards and came back here to check on the host’s mailing preferences when I noticed I could do 6 for 6. So thanks, Leyda, for the Nov. 30 due date, I am now working on 3 more!

If it’s not full, I would love to join. I lived in Japan for three years. Those dolls are amazing. I actually have a set of nesting dolls that I bought over there that are based on those.
