I've had some requests for my English Muffin recipe.......
I thought I would post it here, as long as several of you have shown interest.
Let me know how it works for you, if you try it.
If you do not have a griddle, use your largest skillet.
If you don't have muffin rings, use an empty can of tuna, or cat food, that has both the top and bottom cut out. (Something in a can about 3 inches in diameter and approximately 2 inches high)
Spray with Pam, or other vegetable spray, or grease well with shortening.
Note that recipe says to SPLIT MUFFIN WITH A FORK.
Be certain to do this!
Splitting the muffin in half with a fork, leaves two ragged centers, that, when toasted, create a more crispy muffin.
Slicing the muffins in half with a knife results in a flat cut, and will NOT create crispy muffins as crispy.
