Take some shaving cream, spread it out on a flat surface. Dot it with ink or thinned paint, marble. Lay your paper on top and it picks up the pattern. Then you just wipe off the extra shaving cream and you have nifty effects.
Sounds easier than what I'm doing right now. Nobody seems to know how to make Suminagashi without the pricey ink. I'll stick to good old Amurcan engineering!
However, when I can afford shaving cream again, I'd be happy to give that one a go!
