Swap Due Date - July 18
postage for non-Australians - June 20
I live in Australia - mail will NOT reach me quickly! I suggest you allow at least 4 weeks.
Number of Cards - 3:3 or 6:6
Number of participants - unlimited
Medium - anything EXCEPT hand-drawn or hand-painted

I am very envious of those who can take a pencil or paintbrush and create something recognisable - I most definitely cannot! This swap is for all those people, like me, who find different ways to make a design.
Some of the ways that you can create your cats are: stencils, die cuts, rubber stamps, note cards/scrapbooking paper, washi tape, tissue paper, postage stamps, retiform, iris folding, punches, embossing folders, emboss resist or anything else that you choose.

FUTURE TOPICS (all due on the 18th)
September - Flowers (flowers, trees, gardens) November - Dogs January '27 - Celebrations (birthdays, fireworks, marches, National days) March - Birds May - In the air (balloons, hot air balloons, bubbles, planes, sky divers) July - Under the water (coral, fish, submarines, swimmers) September - Fantasy (fairies, gnomes, dragons) November - Christmas

Post to the thread to sign up or you can't get fun Rep comments.

PM me for my address when you are ready to mail - if you have an address in Robina I am still here. I am an on-time Host so please take note of the suggested mail date at the top of the thread.

Postage
Australian players
: please include a $1.70 stamp
International players: please include a well-hidden US $2 OR a Global Forever stamp

ALL players please include a LARGE address label (at least 2" x2"). I will provide envelopes.

1) do your best work - I plan to swap effort-for-effort as much as I can
2) clearly write your USERNAME and the SWAP NAME on the back of all your cards (so you can get fun Rep comments) and on the back of your mailing envelope. I am running a few swaps and do not want to put you with the wrong returns.
3) please mail early to allow time to reach Australia
4) an extra card for the swap Host is greatly appreciated but is not required
5) I will give feedback when I receive your cards and update this post. In return, I encourage you to give Host feedback when you receive your returns, and Rep comments to the artists whose cards you receive. After all, knowing where your cards went is half the fun, I think.

They are all amazing, but the iris folding just about blows my mind!

I would like to join please, I recently made a stamp for another swap that will be perfect for this! Also, while I hope to join as many as possible, I definitely would like to presign up for the September 2027 theme 😄

I haven't done any ATCs in a while, but it's time to jump back in. Please add me to this one. I have three cats here at home telling me "you can do this!"

welcome to all
MissP - welcome to the site, you will have a lot of fun here. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the thread or send me a message - we all remember being new and how confusing things can seem
Amai - I love iris folding and find that using quilling strips, instead of the recommended folded paper, keeps cards thin enough for postage. I am also looking forward to the 'Fantasy' part of this series.
JustJayne - my avatar is now deceased but she is still pushing me and my boundaries so I understand how pushy 3 of them can be :D
AmethystStar - I would love to get a cat from the library book sale - 2 of my loves combined

NOTE: As I have now prepared all the future swaps please feel free to send cards ahead of their due date - just make sure that you send an address label and postage for each set of cards you send

I don't have any cat things so I'm going to need to get extra creative. I am up for the task, please sign me up!

mybrokenart - you may be able to find some cat napkins. One of the cards that I did not include in my samples used the individual cats from my napkin background - I stuck the napkin to some card then fussy cut them. You can find many iris fold patterns on the internet - my favourite site is CraftsUprint, which I then resize to ATC. Another version could be folded/origami cats, maybe even carve your own stamp on an eraser using a MOQ cat 1778802313741.png
welcome to NancyL and aginghippychic - can't wait to see what you make

My cluster of cats (because clowder is a weird word):

Amai - gorgeous cards, I love your carved kitty on a cloud. Don't forget to tell me when they are mailed.
welcome MACE
Thank you - it was the image I received for my first card in ferretgirl’s swap, and it was too cute not to make a stamp copy to keep!

Sorry, I have a bad habit of not saying outright that things have been mailed when I post, because I usually send them within a day of posting, so these ones are already on their way!

Please sign me up.

My scanner is being uncooperative, so I only got one card scanned after trying toooooo long!
I will try to scan the others after I fix the scanner, or maybe I'll pour coffee on the scanner (coffee fixes everything, right?)
