3 in 1 ATC swap, due October 17th

I think it might have been stressful because you are able to draw & you didn't know how the art would turn out. You had only control in the last part. I rarely know how my art will turn out. I also don't draw.

It was stressful because I didn't know if I was following your instructions. Also, the plastic wrap was not behaving

I didn't know if I was following your instructions.
I had a because of that when I made mine, and I kept checking to see if someone had posted so I could get an idea of how it was supposed to look, and then checked back in as soon as there were replies to see if it was anyone pointing out what bit I had missed or misunderstood 🤣

I’ve found it very reassuring to see others as they post.

I did end up loving the technique enough that when I got my spritzes to test them out a made a whole second set of the 3:1 process from my background collection (although I did boldly use brown with my marble to go with my spritz colours)

I’m not gonna join this time, but this is really interesting to me. I’ve been wanting to buy some distressed paint and inks and stuff so I wanna see what you girls come up with. I definitely will be joining any in the future if I do finally get some of these inks

I'm currently painting several. Then will decide which ones I can bear to cut up for ATCs. My late husband never used water color paints. I started doing the marble art pieces after his death. So no triggers for death here.
So sorry for your loss. I know that must be hard for you. I watched my mom go through that.

I have made of these cards that I am gifting everyone with one. So if you made 3 cards for this swap, you will be getting 4. If you made 6, you will be getting 7.

I will be swapping out either later today or tomorrow. Probably can't gift cards as I need myself to be a swapper so no one gets 2 of any one artist.

Well that was the most difficult set of cards that I have ever swapped out. I tried hard for no one to have 2 of the same artist but I failed. 2 or 3 of you do have repeat artists. But the art itself is all different. Will do feed back later. Feedback is otional but appreciated. You give feedback only to the host(me).

For your fellow artists, the easiest thing to do is to mention them in the swap. "I received cards made by -------, ------------, ----------- etc. If you let me know on the swap thread when you receive your returns, then I will know when to archive the swap.

my wonderful returns arrived from: Amai x2, Cathie M. Carlisle, leydab, maami and NancyL
many thanks to our wonderful Host for introducing me to this new background method
