Altered Ancestors ATC Swap Due July 31, 2025

@CynthiaSillitoe As long as the head and shoulder are from an actual photograph image of a person (copy highly recommended) - the rest of the body and background can be created with whatever materials you wish. No entire bodies cut from magazines, but using magazine bits in collage works.

Holly! Those are amazing! So little clown in the chocolate hat - can you share that story? :D
I can share a little portion of it here...My dad took me to a circus when I was a little girl...we had front row seats but near the entranceway for all the acts, horses, elephants would enter there. It was so much fun to watch them enter the circus ring...So this one time, I was in another world trying to grasp all this circus excitement and suddenly, after a formal introduction, in walks this very famous clown, his name was... Emmett Kelly. Everyone was clapping. He came right over to me and pinched my cheek and winked. I was so taken with clowns after that. Not the weirdo clowns. I am talking about the happy, fun and down right comical clowns. The ones that make you laugh and smile.

That is a fabulous story, Holly! Emmett Kelly! Thanks for sharing. :)

Interesting set, @DevaR. You've included one with a cut-out body rather than creating the body which doesn't fit the swap guidelines. Can it be redone or replaced? The other 3 do fit the guidelines.
The body is from a 1960 newspaper and the head is a photo, is that wrong? Or was it a different one?

The bodies are not to be "cut out" images of entire bodies. The point is to create the body using bits and pieces or drawing/painting. Please check the samples in the first post to see what I'm looking for.

They are already sent but I will create another. I will send another separately. Thanks

I used a portrait of my dad and his brother and sister when they were kids and a 1980's picture of my dad:
IMG_7548.jpeg
1.- My dad (Nelson) loved to fish so I made him King of the Ocean
2.- My dad at age 8 loved exploring and camping
3.- My uncle Nestor loved animals
4.- My aunt Nelly was smart and witty
I hope the cards are acceptable. If they are, I will mail them this week.
