Oh gosh not at all. They love bed time. They actually put themselves to bed, at 8pm sharp. They go to their cage and find their sleepy spot to perch. And they're really good in the morning as well. They don't scream or yell.

I had two parakeets when I was in the Air Force in Japan and I had to put a cloth over the cage or they would screech and keep everybody awake in the whole dorm
