There are so many natural disasters going on; mail has slowed down tremendously and it is already slow coming to Washington state as it is. From now on, I will not be waiting for late swaps. I intend to swap out the first couple of days after the due date. Please be aware of that.*****

I want to do a Christmas swap but it is going to be very detailed and with tight due dates so please don't consider signing up unless you are ready to make a big commitment. Please make a point of reading the rules a few times so you get the main gist of the swap(s). Also, you need to notate that you have read and understand the rules!! We are going to be eventually making 25 Christmas ATCs by December. Every month (except Nov/Dec) we will be making six Christmas ATCs. In Nov/Dec there may be some variations but we'll talk about that then. When you are done making your six ATCs for the months of September/October you will wrap each individual ATC in Christmasy gift wrap. This is mandatory. When December comes you should have an ATC to open every day of the month through the 25th. ****When you have wrapped all of your Christmasy ATCs you will need to number them from 13-18. That is so that people know the order to open their ATCs. So, somewhere on the outside of the ATC there will need to be a number from 13-18.***** Postage has gone up and you will be sending six ATCs so please make sure you put the appropriate amount of postage on your mail to me. My mail lady is a sticker for rules so she is very strict about the mail. It might be better to take your mail to the Post Office to have it weighed and stamped. As far as themes for your Christmas ATCs go, we will be doing generic type themes with no religious content, please. You can talk to me privately about that if you have questions or comments. You, also, can start making your ATCs ahead of time so that you can fit the tight due dates in your schedule.
Please do not use very big or thick embellishments on your ATCs. That makes the mail price go up & you'll also need to send extra postage to make sure your ATCs get to their next destination or partner. If you send something with bling on it that is going to be bumpy; then you need to send extra postage so that your ATCs will get to their new partners. I am going to be firm about this as the post office is getting more & more picky about what goes through the mail. I get a lot of mail with postage due so please make sure you are using correct postage amount. Also, make sure you have good postage coverage on your return mail envelopes.
NITTY GRITTY:
For the most part I swap media for media, but this is going to be a blind swap since all the ATCs are going to be wrapped up. If you don't really care to do that then maybe this is not the swap for you. Meaning you could get hand drawn/hand painted ATCs, mixed media, zentangle, etc. Maybe not a medium that you usually work in.
For this series of swaps, I will be providing the return envelopes. Please enclose a large mailing label with your name/address on it and send as much postage as it took to send your swap to me. INTERNATIONAL SWAPPERS NEED TO SEND A LARGE ADDRESS LABEL WITH THEIR NAME & ADDRESS ON IT. INTERNATIONAL SWAPPERS PLEASE ALSO SEND TWO ONE DOLLAR BILLS OR AN INTERNATIONAL STAMP OR YOU CAN SEND BY MY PAY PAL ADDRESS.
!!!!To send your swaps please write the name of the swap on the outside of the envelope. Please write the name down exactly as I have it for the swap.!!!! International players will need to send a forever stamp to get their swaps back or two one dollar bills. I also have Pay Pal address, as well. International swappers please also send a large label with your name & address on it. The mail in Washington state tends to be very slow so please don't wait until the last minute to send your swaps. Late swaps will be returned to the sender with possible neutral feedback. If you do send heavy or thick ATCs please be courteous & send extra postage to help make sure they get to the partners they need to go to. Mail went up so please make sure you are putting proper postage on your swaps, regardless. Please do not go over-board on taping your envelope or using washi. They are the two worst things to have to deal with regarding my arthritis. Thank you, I appreciate it. You can hardly ever go wrong with painter's tape.
I am a host that mainly sends on time so if your swaps don't make it to me by the due date; you run the risk of getting a neutral ITrader or even a negative ITrader if there is no ATCs & no communication. If you need to drop the swap, please let me know as soon as possible.
Once I have received your ATCs (on time) I will leave feedback for you in most instances.
Once you have received your returns please let me know if I have done a good job or not by leaving feedback, as well, In normal swaps the only person that gets FeedBack is the host. People that you get ATCs from receive Reputation Points. At this point and time and due to postage I am requesting that no one sends a host ATC. If you have any questions about the swap please feel free to contact me or ask in the thread. Please leave reputation points for the swappers you receive ATCs from. Everyone likes to receive some positive encouragement
