Jo.... I am trying to match your color codes but nothing (in Michael's) has anything named Steel Blue.
Fuschia is also very hard to find.
I am making do with my Derwent Inktense and other brands that I have.

wildholly - match the colors the best you can and don't worry. For the blue, try Prussian Blue.

I realized I don't have your address. I'm so surprised by that. I feel like I've worked with you already. Maybe because I've received a couple of your cards! Could you email it, please?

Sounds like fun! I'll take a spot on the lurker's couch until I can be sure I'll have them done. I think I can find colored pencils in the correct colors.
Do you think graphite would be OK? It isn't black but could be a tint of black. I may find another pencil and see if I can get a gray.

Lorna, you are welcome as a lurker. I often don't sign up for a swap until I finish my cards.
As for matching colors, just do the best that you can. I seem to collect watercolor pencils, and even owning over 200 (yikes!), I can't find exact matches to all the colors that appear on the color swatch. If you can tell by the 269 card, the black varies from an intense midnight black to a dark charcoal grey. For your cards, graphite would be fine. I don't want anybody to feel uncomfortable if they can't find an exact match.

Love the idea of an extra limited palette! Tried to match the colors with the 5 most symilar I was able to find between my markers... the extra shadings are popped out mixing the colors - the only exra addictions are white touches for star and a minimal touches of fuxia glitter pen...
