Color Cubes #269 - Due March 14, 2025

Hi. Nervous newbie here. The cards for the last swap were so beautiful, and I'd really love to join the next swap, but is it OK to use cross stitch, following the colour cube theme? I have the complete colour pallette of DMC skeins, so could stick to the colours as closely as I can. I do also do papercraft ATC's, or a mixture of both. 😊

Stitchy you are most welcome to join us for this swap or the next. I am excited to see what you could create with embroidery floss. I will let you know when the next swap is up and running and what colors we’ll use. There is nothing to be nervous about - this is a friendly and helpful group.

Thank you @jo.on.the.go
I'm excited to have a go at this kind of theme. I'm sure I'll find it challenging, but satisfying. 😉

Hi Jo! Please sign me up. :) Here are my ATCs. I will get them in the mail in the next few days.

These backgrounds started out as a photo I took of a flower. Then I used a digital program or two to get the finished result. I got lucky and the color profile of these matched the swap requirements perfectly. The background has been collaged with die cuts using the swap colors.

The due date for this swap is fast approaching. If you haven't mailed your cards yet, it is time to start thinking about it!

As I said in the first post, and maybe else where, if you see cards that you really like and would like to add them to your collection, please make a comment in the thread, indicate that you like cards by clicking on "like" for a particular post, make a comment in "reputation", comment in the swap gallery, or send me a PM message. I attempt to honor requests when I swap out the cards, but I can't guarantee you will receive everything that you want because often more than one person will like the same card.
