Swap Due Date - July 1st 2026
Signup/withdraw date - none, just please communicate
Number of Cards - 3 for 3
Number of participants - 30
Medium - Open medium, HD/HP, mixed media, collage or a combination of techniques
A Bit of Background:
There are many identities that comprise the human experience. My hope for this swap is to normalize and celebrate the LGBTQ+ experience. June 28th is International LGBTQ+ Pride Day, a day dedicated to LGBTQ+ pride and to commemorate the anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Every country celebrates a little bit differently and at different times. If you're aware of your country's specific ways of celebrating please feel free to share in the thread. In the US, generally the month of June is when celebrations are held.
Swap Details:
There are many identities that fall under the huge LGBTQ+ umbrella. Many of which have their own flags. The goal of this swap is to take the colors of a specific flag and apply only those colors to any subject matter. For example, you may choose the nonbinary flag (colors are yellow, white, purple, and black) and then draw/paint a mountain scene using only those colors. Here is an example:

Here is a reference to many of the pride flags. Please note there are many others not represented here. Any flag under the LGBTQ+ umbrella is welcome in this swap. You can find many of them by clicking this link: List of Pride Flags Here

Here are some more examples:
This is done using the colors of the pansexual flag (pink, yellow & blue):

Bisexual flag (pink, purple & blue):
