I had a lot of fun making the D card. I was sitting at the train tracks and I watched one of those trains go by you know the ones with all the grafitti on them and everything and I thought boy those sure are defaced lol and voilà. I had the word that I wasn’t sure what I was going to use yet and this has the letters DEF in it so if you want it for the host one that is fine, and I realize that that’s the last time in the alphabet I’ll be able to use three consecutive letters. I already checked the other ones and there are no words. By the way, it was not intentional but I kind of defeat the definition in the dictionary too when I put it on here I try to turn it out light brown and I accidentally ripped it in half so I kind of defaced that also lol. But that’s why I spelled the word out because I was afraid I defaced the definition too much to read it.
But I have done D and E so far and here they are and I don’t know what Jane and Mark I was just trying to find a girls and the guy‘s name. I thought I would use mice squishy letters for the letters this time. I probably won’t do that every time, but I might. I don’t know yet. I forgot I had those stickers, but I hand drew the brick wall. It’s black underneath and then I colored it. It was two different shades of metallic blue ink I found a couple stickers to put across it. I wrote the Jane and Mark and colored in the heart with the XOXO, but it’s kind of neat how real life things happen that help us to fulfill the swaps lol.
I don’t know if you guys can tell yet, but I love to draw brick walls. It’s one of my things. I just love doing them and I love doing them in different colors.
The e-card, I started it as a collage, and then I switched over to hand drawn because I thought the background collage made it look like sky so then I drew a little mountain in there and put him on it
Side note: We have this place in our "downtown" which is pretty small. But an area of around one city block, the city sold to the art gallery here in town a parcel that we call the Alley. Its very grunge all brick (remember I love brick walls lol) and cool. I love walking back there. Once a month (weather permitting) they repaint the wall a solid color. The non professional artists, like you and me are welcome to go there and spray paint or draw paint anything they want as long as its not nudes. They have some fantistic artists here in my little town! Its just incredible some of the stuff they do. I'll have to take some pictures to show you guys this year. Every summer in July, some of the artists join forces and about half of the city block is something patriotic for the 4th of July. This year for the 250th I can't wait to see what they do. We are also getting that drone show from American's got Talent Sky Element coming to do a show. Its going to be pretty exciting.
