Swap Due Date - Oct. 3, 2026
Signup/withdraw date - None; just communicate
Number of Cards - 3 for 3
Number of participants - Unlimited
Medium: Open (except for exclusively digital and photography)

Dolly Parton’s death feels like losing a friend—someone who belonged to all of us. She crossed generations and boundaries, helped people feel seen, exuded kindness, and united people who often disagree. Her music is embedded in our consciousness, representing joy, generosity, ferocity and resilience.

This swap honors Dolly Parton’s legacy: her music and movies, kindness, creativity, glamour, big hair, coat of many colors, Appalachian spirit, and charitable works. Create 3 different ATCs that pay tribute to this American icon. You can opt for portraiture or anything that symbolizes her life, including song lyrics, movies, fashion, social activism and quotes. Style and media are up to your interpretation.

  • Send 3 different cards.
  • Your name, user name, swap name, location on the back of each card
  • Cards must be ATCs (not APCs).

Lurking.
I was at Dollywood on August 9th.
She was supposed to appear on Friday the 14th for the grand opening of a new ride. She did it by video.
Obviously I did not See her at Dollywood, but after she died I felt like I had.
They said a brief battle with cancer- as we all know cancer is usually a long battle. It could have been pancreatic or liver cancer, those both go fast. But Dolly being Dolly, she did that grand opening by video. We've definitely lost a VERY IMPORTANT PURRSON in this world.
😿❤️
