RED ROOSTER DRAGON

The multiple brads on four over-lapping layers, plus the pipe cleaner legs, make this dragon thicker, and also a bit heavier.
But it is still thinner than a coin, so is not really considered "bulky"
It does fold down to the attached red ATC back. and does fit into an ATC sleeve.

If anyone is making articulated cards, which is GREAT!, be sure to check your envelope weight and/or thickness in the event extra postage is required.

NOTE:
If creating dragon eggs, or "loose" articulated dragons, artist should affix any eggs or loose dragon "shapes" to a card ( while still allowing for movement),
This sample in this post clearly shows this technique with a (red) card base.
Larger blue background is used to showcase the ATC.
It is NOT part of the ATC.

Wow! There are some really creative dragon lovers out there! Since joining ATCs for all, I have been amazed and humbled by how creative everyone is. The cards I made are anthotypes: a series of plant-based photographic processes that due to long exposure times (plus pH sensitivity and other quirks) were deemed impractical for photography but really fun to mess around with. The pigment comes from tumeric and is relatively fast <6 hour exposure time and also 'fixes' in basic solutions (baking soda) to end the sun reactivity. After I had my 'photographs' of dragons I then drew on them so they would be more fierce. I was able to mail them today.
