So if you got excited and made some of the next sets of 3, you could mail them to you? As long as they came in their own envelope w/ loose postage & mailing label? I still have to make some paper collages. I'm taking a class on grief and we get/have to make a memorial thing. I have chosen to do collages on cardboard birds. I have gathered, tickets, wrappings from favorite snacks, some neuro art, torn paper, & some gelli prints--little bits & pieces from Werner's life. This is slow going as I think of the many things we did together that will not happen again with him. I will hang theise birds in the living room.
You can send them all in the same envelope. Just add the postage and the address label for each separate set (and don't forget to sign to the next swaps once they go live).
The class on grief will be very helpful to you. Take your time with it and if you fell like sharing, I would love to see the collage birds you create.
It is so much fun! Last time one of the players did a birds series, another one did animals, and somebody else did a series on deceases from a medical dictionary. Or you can just pick your favorite words, not many rules here.This looks fun and unlimited theme almost

Are there assigned letters and do they need to go in sequence?
I am not sure I understand your question, but for this particular swap you will make one card illustrating a word starting with the letter A, one starting with the letter B and one starting with the letter C (making sure you include the word and definition in the front of the card). If you plan to swap 6 for 6, then you will make 2 cards starting with the letter A, two starting with B and so on. Then I will continue with the next set on the series that will be letters D, E and F and so forth. I will be posting that swap at the end of this month.
That’s why I was trying to figure out what letters we were doing ABC DEF etc. I didn’t know if this was the first one in the series or if I caught it after you had done a few.
I finally made my A card. I have not found time for art. So I just went to my art room and did it. I still need breakfast & a shower.
I returned to my former Lutheran church and in March I have 2 people coming here to make art. I love to do art with people who think they are not creative. Also it is a distraction from grief, but I am also here with people who can listen and talk about grief. Anew friend came to tea at my house yesterday. We clicked on som many levels. We are both messy. But creative. She does draw but is willing to learn the techniques I know. She still has a living husband but has a daughter with extreme anxiety. Werner lived with clinical depression & anxiety. And we are both talkers. She brings her mother to church and we are both in our 70s.
