Postage Stamp People 3 Swap, Date Due: May 15, 2026

I'm talking about unused stamps of course, used stamps are cheap and abundant! I have gotten stamps from all over the world as a gift when trading and hosting - I love to see what every country has on their stamps.
Oh, sorry! Yes, mailing costs keep going up. Threats here are that the post office may go bankrupt 🙄
Did not know one could buy stamps at a discount outside the post office.

I'm lurking, because I don't think I will have enough time to participate. But I love seeing what you guys are doing here! The thing is, postage is really expensive in Sweden. Postage to anywhere in the world except domestic is ~$4.50 (two 'forever' stamps) if you buy the stamps at the post office. However, I've lately realized that people actually sell discount stamps online. They're apparently stamp collectors that bought forever stamps when they were maybe $0.70 apiece, and they're worth ~$2.25 apiece nowadays, and they sell them for maybe ~$1.25. Win-win for everyone (except the post office, but that serves them right!). So I was browsing 'second hand stamps' just now, a little bummed out about the price and about inflation in general, and then I came to AFA and saw that stamps that I have used to send people ATC's actually showed up in this swap! So now I feel more like I'm buying not just postage but small, pretty pictures that people will look at and think: I wanna use that in my art! Suddenly it feels less overpriced.
It’s really expensive here too - £3.40 ($4.53) to anywhere except within the UK. I didn’t know about the forever stamps - I know you can get discount UK stamps for postage online and I buy those (they’re maybe 15% off the price of the stamp so it does save a little bit). I will look for the forever stamps as well, as I’ve been buying those at full price plus shipping!
