Retiform fun~Due May 11, non-Australians - April 13

leydab - great cards, I will tell you when they arrive
NancyL - you will be missed but I understand
maami - welcome to the swap. Great cards - I have sent you my address

I hope that everyone is going to have a relaxing time over this break.

Please remember that mail is taking about 4 weeks to reach Australia so I suggest that you adhere to my recommended mailing time of April 13.

It is very useful to me to know when your cards are mailed so that I can keep an eye out for them. You don't have to show them in the thread but it is inspiring for those still to finish their cards (and I love to see the many different ways that people interpret the theme)

Darn wish I had seen this before it was so close to the non-Australians due date. Reminds me of Nancy L Take it off swap.

Sign me up please! This is a new technique for me, but I have seen the examples here and have done a bit of research elsewhere on the internet, so I think I’m comfortable enough with it to give it a go.

if there is still time sign me up and ill make them tomorrow...thought i was too late. I thought due date meant in your hands.

So this is just a practice card. I’m not turning this one in at least I don’t think so unless my other ones turned out horrible I just wanted to make sure this is correct for the blocking technique. @Donnacr I don’t have any Post-it notes so I was just using old ATC cards

welcome les342 - don't get lost down the internet rabbit hole with this technique, so many different ways to do it.

MACE - welcome to the swap. on your sample card I would make the lines more obvious - see my sample in post #2 where I used a fineliner on the lines

I might add a little bit more to these cards, but I think I finally figured out how to do the shape thing right so let me know if they look good @Donnacr
