CALLING ALL FRIDA FANS:
A favorite swap returns! Join us as we make ATC’s inspired by the amazing and enigmatic artist: Frida Kahlo.
Making the Art:
- Create original, standard-size ATC's (2.5 x 3.5 inches,) made sturdy and mostly flat.
- Feature Frida: include her likeness on each card.
- Open theme: in your style, Frida’s or whatever inspires you.
- Open media: Hand-drawn/painted, collage, or a combination of techniques.
- Printed images of Frida are A-ok, but make each image your own by altering it in some way.
- No white-edged stickers, no white backgrounds, no fully-digital art.
- Sign the back of each card.
- Please take your time and send your best work.
- The swap is 3 for 3. A host card, extra postage or even a note is always appreciated.
Mailing the Art:
- Send each card in individual ATC/penny sleeves.
- Secure your cards. Using removable tape like washi or painter’s tape to adhere the art flatly together inside the envelope is recommended. Post office machines can wreak havoc on envelopes. Also consider taping the outer edges of your envelope for mailing.
- All Players: Send your address on a large mailing label and I’ll provide return envelopes.
- US Players: Please include 2 forever stamps or 1 forever stamp + an additional ounce stamp. I will be protecting the art returns with taped-edges on the envelopes and card backing. Some USPS processors may consider envelopes "rigid," so this postage should cover any thick cards and extra protection to ensure safe delivery of our art. I'll cover the extra stamp for those that just send one.
- Int’l Players: I’ll cover your postage.
- Send a direct message for my address (still in Costa Mesa.)

- Show and tell: We’d love to see your creations, so posting pics of your art in the thread is highly encouraged.
- Communicate: There isn’t a deadline for sign-ups or withdrawals, but players who disappear may receive neutral feedback.
- Once you receive your RETURNS, 1) please post in the thread and acknowledge the players’ whose art you have received, and leave Reputation if you wish and 2) leave FEEDBACK for nanner/your host.
