WELCOME To Our "Hobby Farm" Due July 4th, 2026

This will be fun, I was raised on a farm, have had a garden most of my adult life, even a very small one with hubby doing most of the work now. I do flowers. I'll need your address please

AWESOME ATCs received from Sarahd.
Your watercolors are spectacular
Thank you so much for including a hostie.

I am keeping your Sweet Baby Calf.
It looks just like our most recent addition, which was a breach birth, and only the second breach birth I had to help with.
Breach births are very difficult, for the heifer, the calf, and for ME!!
I have tiny hands, so I have been designated as best suited to turn any breach baby with the least distress to the mother. (We had a breach birth goat years ago, so I had some previous experience.)
MESSY, but rewarding, and now both mother and baby are doing well.

Side note, I soiled so many towels during the birthing process that I took everything to the laundromat rather than spending an entire day doing the wash at home.
Unfortunately, the owner of the laundromat saw all the blood and called the cops.

Fortunately, I know the chief of police, and he, and his wife, and their two daughters, are all familiar with our hobby farm!!!
The girls consider our farm their PERSONAL petting zoo, and they absolutely "move in" when the baby chicks arrive. Also, Mom likes the free eggs, and surplus produce that we share.

BIG SIGH!!!!!!!

My cards are going in the mail tomorrow June 1st. I wanted to hand draw them all but I guess I didnt have it in me. I used a technique I've never used on the 2nd two. Print your picture, put wide clear packing tape over the image then pull the tape off. The image stays on the tape. I then glued it on the card that I painted in acrylic. It gives a feathered edge. I used clear Gesso over the top so it wouldn't be shiny.
