A tip for the paper for alcohol ink, glossy photopaper works as well if backed with some sturdy paper to prevent warping.

This week, we met his caseworker & social worker & and a nurse who talked for almost 3 hours about drugs and benefits.

we meet the pastor tomorrow. But art is a main distraction.

NancyL: could I use vellum paper instead of acetate sheets?

Vellum paper might curl up with the heat. Also the vellum will make the alcohol inked layer not clear. Acetate would be best. It is also interesting to see where the stamped image falls on your abstract alcohol layer. So, I think no vellum.

Checking in again. My husband is now on some kind of steroid which lessens his bone pain. This makes his life so much better.

My husband had an unexpected video chat with his hospice dr. She predicted that probably he would live at least another 6 months. Which has made me less anxious.
