Coins? Due Date-September 25th

Going for gas soon for my car. This car has been here since March 2025. For the first few months, my husband got gas for it. There is a choice in Oregon. You can pump your own gas or you can have a gas station person pump it. After my husband died, many people came to stay with me. I let them get the gas. I always paid for it. And so finally it is my turn to get the gas. I am going to a station where there are always someone to pump for you. Not all the stations do that. I have previously gone to this particular station twice with others. So everything should wokr aout. I am just nervous. But when I get home I can work on doing more joomchi art.
 
I had a very friendly and helper guy who pumped my gas. I did get lost coming home but that is not anything new. My plan is to fill up when the tank is half full. Then the cost shock is only half as bad.
 
At church, we are having volunteers share a very short presentation on a talent they have. Today was a woman who makes art. So I talked to her and she will be the next person to make art with me on a monthly or so basis. This is my best distration from grief---art & interaction with a person.
 
Middleearthtraveller, you cards are here. I also copied your address off of your swap envelope. Thanks for the extra card. I am managing. Being half of a household is nicer than being the only person living here. The dog is entertaining.
 
checking in. No good mail. Had a problem with a subscription that I had until this morning. It was a dog product. i sent them 2 emails. they answered both but did not fix my problem. My charge card is not valid but I tried my hardest to change it. So now I will get thier product on amazon. And i will get it tomorrow. I like to use the companies which make the product. Oh Well.
 
its been a while since I did any coins - if I remember correctly they are 2.5" so two of them on a ATC and punched so the background shows thru. going to play a bit and see I come up with anything.

I completely understand. I got involved in my artwork when my husband had a stroke and was then diagnosed with 4th stage cancer. I was taking care of him for 5 years and also our young children. The art is so "Zen" for me. Started out by giving me an emotional outlet. Now it helps me to not think about the world. What a gift!!
 
I worry about my sons, but they are all grown up. And have kids. And this next fall all our grands will be in college and all in CA.
 
Goatgoddess, good to see a post from you. 14 months ago, I joined the widowhood club. It was not my choice but he is gone from pain. And I am managing. My youngest grand and a girl friend are visiting next week for a couple of days. We will be doing a lot of arting.

enjoying seeing cards posted - I got some cut out but I think I need to change up my paper choices - will see. I can't seem to do art that well when I'm stressed out or unhappy - now I will start huge house and yard projects <g>
