ENVIE LINER IMAGES, due June 29

Such a cool Idea, I am in. so we just mess up a few envelopes and cut out the liner then paste it to an ATC card...that is so neat I never would have thought to do that... I don't know what cardstock substrate is. I will have to look

Thank you - I did struggle a bit with composing these ones, because I started off fairly confident as I had done a liner face before, but underestimated the difference between sketchbook size and atc size when it came to contrast effect. I was VERY glad the rules allowed for some translucent assist! I love swaps like this one for the creative challenge, and pushing me to expand what I can do with mediums! I never know until I try if it’s going to work out.

I understood it to mean using card stock as a backing to build the piece on, as liner alone would be too flimsy.
 
I love the kitty too. Also that cute little fairy. Actually, all of them! So glad you posted pictures.

Substrate was a new word for me too, just learned it on this site. You are correct, it is just a base to work on, to give some stability. Bristol card is great, but also any cereal box works as well.
