Exploration of Acrylic Inks : Due July 2nd

I had to clear my dining table in order to swap out the Punched cards. So I finished swapping those out this am . Tablecloth is back on the table and it is waiting for the materials for my next art thing.

What did you use to spatter the inks? I just tried tapping the empty dropper and it went everywhere except the cards🙄. Answered my own question. Dipped a small paint brush in the bottle. Don't know why I thought I couldn't use a paint brush.🙄.View attachment 829766
I have an airline toothbrush for splashing

Too early for mail. So I will tell you how I saved my dog this morning. I had ordered a square table (not from Amazon) so that my grands can use it for eating & playing cards. It came yesterday and I moved the box inside to my entry way. I set up the table in the living room but left its box behind in the entry way. As I am doing that I hear Harley crying. I don't know why. I set the table up and go see what is the dog's problem. She is trapped! She cannot go around or over the big cardboard that is 3 inches tall and the area of my new folding table. I got 3 pieces of cheese and tossed them on the flat box. Now she could walk across the box, no problem. Good thing I was close by or she would still be trapped by the front door.

I am enjoying this exploration:
I used watercolor paper and sulphite paper, dry paper and wet paper, pushed the wet colors with more water or using an air pump, layered colors after drying, made marks with brush and glass dip pen, and stamped with foam stamps and rubber stamps.
Mailing today.

Love the space one - I've had some results that look straight from the Hubble too - saving for that star trek swap coming up

Wildholly, your cards came today. There was a small tear at the bottom of the envelope. Thanks for the extra card and the little pieces of art.

Donnacr, your cards are here. I am taking a break from getting the groceries into the house. I will be back here later.

After some lunch and a nap, I am revived. Donnacr, thanks for the extra card. I am impressed that you were able to make images that resemble something and you did that with a largely unmanageable media.

My dining table still has art stuff on it. But I did buy a new table because I am hosting a family thing. The new table is in the living room and I think its first job will be holding all the inks cards and being swapped out. There was no point of putting this new table into the garage and then moving it back inside. Not sure whether I will swap today or tomorrow. I have been mailing from a drop box at a very near by grocery. I don't like to drop off mail on Sundays. Because there is a farmers' market next door. Those people do not understand taking turns about who has the right of way.
