Exploration of Acrylic Inks : Due July 2nd

I gave FB to you all and mailed the cards yesterday. Giving feedback to the host is optional. Most people do it. There is a way to give rep points but i do not know how. There also points you can give out with the rep points. I am uncomfortable giving points so I don't do it. Another way you can acknowlege the people whose cards you get is to mention on this thread the names of the artists who made the cards that you received. Even if you choose not to do any of these thing, let me know that you have received your ATCs. When I know that most people have received their cards, than I can close the swap and archive it.

I received my cards today. Thank you NancyL for hosting and for the swirly ink card. I love the addition of the corner threads. Also thank you to CallunaCreative for the Make It Happen, the white background makes the inks pop and AmySi for the splash of colors with the copper metallic ink. I love them all. Thank you

I received my returns. Thank you NancyL for hosting. I received cards from NancyL-Fish Eyes, Gleaning from Amai and
Make Mistakes from Heather Beaber.

I received my ATCs! This is my first swap... in AGES.....
Thank you to NancyL for coming up with a topic tempting enough to make me rejoin ATCsForAll.com.
My cards are from CallunaCreative, Antigen, and Amai.
I am thrilled to have such a diverse collection!

Now my questions:
How soon do I remove all my attachments from this thread?
I like seeing acknowledgments right here in the thread... is this enough or do I contact each swapper individually?

Ooops.... I could not get the "Edit" button to work.
I DID leave Reputation remarks/points for each person.
I think we USED to call these "You Rocks" or something similar. I recall joking about throwing rocks at each other....
Also left Feedback for our wonderful host, so I think I've completed my tasks for the day....

I think you remove your art when the swap is still in the activie forum. I think once it goes to the archived forum, it is too late. You can ask a mod how to remove your art. It has been a long time since i have been able to post any art.

Why do you need to remove the attachments?

Why do you need to remove the attachments?
The ATCsForAll.com servers only have so much room... and picture files are often big files. I'd rather send a higher resolution photo as an attachment and delete it later than put a low resolution photo into the Gallery and link to it. I asked about our "storage allotment" and learned that there is a little box at the bottom of the main Forums page that tells what we have used. Attachments count against this allotment. I prefer to post large temporary pictures in the thread and keep those lower quality small images in my Gallery.

I see where it shows our storage, but what are are max limits? That would help to know.

Hello again. I stopped doing ATCs for about a year... shortly after this new interface went into place. Then I had another year of doing just a few trades and no swaps. So I am just now learning to use this new interface. Some things are, frankly, impossible to search for. ...
But I got a VERY quick answer to my most recent question by going to the "Site Support" forum. (THANKS HHC)
I don't know what the maximum limits are for someone who is NOT a friend of AFA, but for friends it is 75 MB. That is plenty if you used the OLD guidelines for teeny tiny files... but it is not much in terms of modern images.
I have a LOT of historic images in my Gallery, and since they are very low resolution I can add plenty more, just to keep a "record" of what I've joined.
But I plan to just post attachments "in the threads" and remember to remove them before a swap closes.
