And finally, wonderful sunflowers have arrived from @Carole Cadek! I appreciate your including an extra card just for me.

@CynthiaSillitoe, your sunflowers arrived yesterday! Yesterday it was pouring down rain, and I didn't want to walk down to get mail from the box, and so it was fun mail for today instead. Thanks for including one of your treasures for me to keep.

Unfortunately, the US mail service has deteriorated a bit of recent, so giving your cards as long as possible to arrive is recommended. If you mail a week or less from the due date, I won't wait for your cards to arrive.

Wonderful @3moffday2!
We were out most of the day yesterday. In the morning I did my regular volunteer gig at the community free food share (only a light drizzle), and then we met a friend and did a thing with a bunch of other folks. This one lady and friends had funky sunglasses on (in the rain) and when I admired them she gave me a pair to keep. I had my hat on to keep the rain off my glasses, so they ended up on the top of said hat and hood. And my friend took this photo for posterity. lol!
So this is me and my hubby at the thing.
He is immune compromised so we wear masks in crowds, even outside. We moved to another spot, and a lady wandering by admired the glasses, so I ended up giving them to her. Passing on the joy.
All that to say, I picked up the mail but had zero energy to do anything with it until this morning.
