NOT Hand Drawn/Hand Painted - Butterflies~ Due June 18 (non-Australians - May 21)

jo.on.the.go - I didn't know about how they are displayed but I knew one of the ways to tell a moth from a butterfly was how they held their wings when at rest - a moth has their wings flat out while a butterfly generally holds their wings vertically above their body.
As a child I always thought that butterflies had pretty colours and designs while moths were the boring colours - I now know that this isn't always the case. :D

welcome MACE
Moths are Dorsal view, Butterflies are Ventral view. Preschool teacher here!

NancyL - so glad that you found some napkins you are happy with. (I have a whole section in my craft room for butterfly napkins - obviously I have been collecting napkins for too long :embarrassed:)

I finished my cards and have to pack them up. I've been taking my outgoing mail to a drop box so I will let you know when I do that. I'm hoping to make another set of letters for leydab.

I haven’t decided if I’m going to do six yet or not but I played around with these today and I made the host gift. I’m probably gonna do six but I haven’t just haven’t decided. I almost have a month to get them in the mail. I just messed up on another international swap. I’m not gonna do it here. Here’s what I have so far but I’m getting ready to go by GELLI and I’m gonna try to apply that to the other cards. If I do do three more these are all diet cuts and rubber stamps (and thank you, Donna. I figured out how to work with the rubber stamp that had the butterfly separate from the antenna thing). I colored these after they were already on the card. The middle one gave me the most grief and took the most time because I took the cut outs from the dye cut. I cut two different butterflies, one dark blue one light blue and I used the light blue inside to put on that butterfly that’s hanging off the edge.
