DevaR - you will be missed. I feel your pain with things lost in an abyss - I have been organising my craft room and finding some wonderful, long-lost treasures.
You don't have to use stamps - you can fill the shapes with hand-drawn shapes/designs (they don't have to be as complicated as my zentangles) or if you have some stencils you can use them (see my sample in post #16)

Anyway, you put block different areas and then put down different colors and then fill in over the colors. I have not had the patience to listen to the videos. There seems to be a long intro & I have not gotten to the nitty gritty of any of them. I have lots of time today so will try it out and see if mine match the ones posted.
I think I can do the backgrounds. I will make several and then decide what to put on top.At this point my cards have thin white lines between shapes. I like the contrast but I am not finished with them so they might get color. So essentially you have colored planned shapes and you can put a design on each color block or over the whole card?
NancyL - I know that some videos use a single stamp over the various different coloured sections but I would like you to keep each section separate - both background colour and top design (see my how-to example in Post #2). I have no problem with some white between the sections (see my brown sample in Post #1) glad that you are making a variety

Please let me know if I went off script with any of them (added lines or masking shapes) - I tried to follow the instructions, but I don’t mind a redo if I got it wrong, as I had a lot of fun making these! I actually have 3 extras that didn’t make the cut for the swap!
