There's not really a definition. It's just what the size (2 3/4"x1") is called. There's quite a bit of discussion about all this in the various old moo swap threads.

Needle felting would be great. I love needle felt myself. When I have fabric swaps I list everything. Quilting, punchinella, embroidery, needlefelt, plastic canvas, etc. Any of this would be okay for this group. Hope you can join in.
