I have decided that whatever players send will be okay. My ability to post pictures of anything is gone. And that left way before the grief came. I am almost 15 months into grief. Also I am living on my own for the first time. I think living alone might be way easier when you are young...and confident. I do have a room mate. She is a 6 yr old pit mix who still makes me laugh and comes to sit by me when the grief is so heavy.

Went to a Powells bookstore nearby. and out to eat. Diya, my grand is driving her car. It was one we used to own. My husband drove it and it lived in the garage. A Honda HRV. Now it lives in WA and is parked on a street.

I am in charge of a very small ATC group. there are 7 of us and each month we make 6 cards so every one gets one from each of the other players. I usually come up with the theme or technique for the month. But end of summer & into fall, I have each player pick a month and choosethe theme or technique. I still swap out all cards & provide postage & envelopes for everyone.

So blacked out poetry is for August. I've made 2. Only 4 more to go. It was sugested to use a book page but a magazine works, too. All of mine ave nature themes as I am using old National Geographics.

National Geographic magazines have beautiful colors too.
I had a collection of Nat Geog. and another one called Archeology, from the early 2010's. They were in a box in the garage.. At the beginning of the year, we had a leak from the water heater, but we hadn't noticed it because it started small, and I thought it was coming from the washing machine. By the time we realized it wasn't and that it got worse, the plumber came, made us move everything from the garage, and when I moved the box with the magazines, they had gotten wet, and with a musty smell already, I couldn't save them.
My son noticed how much it hurt me having to get rid of them, and thought maybe we could still dry them and save them, but not, they were beyond the recovery point already. 😥
