"Grief is like glitter. In the beginning, it's everywhere... It settles, becomes quieter, less overwhelming." — UnknownNext month will end my first year without my husband. Or another way of seeing it, a year of doing a lot of new things for the first time. And much of this time is blurry.
Thanks, Nancy. I’ll probably do a variety. After I asked the questions I started doing totally abstract ones and l started to like those better lol. I think the alien stars one will still make the cut too, but the bird only if I can make it more exciting. It’s fun making lots of holes and seeing what ends up peaking through. I think the bottom one is my favorite of my first attemptsSometimes I can be flexible. This might be one of those times. I think the most important partof this swap challenge is having holes from whick you can see interesting thigs. If you re read the swap directions, I removed the abstract part. Probably because I love your cards. And it opens the door to so many other ways to do this swap.

That's an optical illusion - I can see it both ways now after you and Nancy discussed. Now that the abstract requirement has been removed I'm excited to see what comes up.the flowers are holes - its a flower punch. It is two card glued together with the bottom one having the pink and the top the green. The punched out pieces were little green flowers. I agree that the bottom card lacks interest for this prompt. I can remove the image if it’s more confusing than helpful.
