Lovely work! Frida looks great against the stamped/varied backgrounds. I've sent my address for you and will keep a lookout for these beauties.

Helen, your fabulous Fridas have found me safely! I'm so grateful for the keepsake card. I'll also put the extra postage to good use.

I'm sorry, but I have to drop out. It looks like we can't send ATCs by letter anymore because of all that stupid tax stuff going on. I'd have to mail them by package, which would cost me about 16€ instead of 1,80€ and I'm definitely not willing to pay this much. ☹️
Guess I will step back from trading and swapping for a while...

Ev, here's a glimmer of hope for us. Sniisk posted this in another thread. Perhaps things will settle down soon, and/or we can still trade with you on a 1 or 2 card basis as documents for a while until this all gets sorted out:

I read some good news. USA should accept light parcels (thick envelopes) from EU countries starting from June 30th. The problem is that there is a 3 dollar fee per parcel or envelope before they will process them. I think it will be cheaper to mail only two cards per envelope and hope they will be counted as documents.
 
Swap announcement: We're just under a month away from our swap deadline. Still plenty of time to find the Frida within. :D

Great cards, Lazyshadows! We had a Frida painting at our local art museum a few months ago and some photos of her and her studio. It was so wonderful to see. I always seem to think of her paintings as being very, very large but this one was way smaller than I'd have expected. And there were some other artifacts in the exhibit as well.
